Myra Bodanis Freisinger - myra@ggatept.com
Myra Bodanis Freisinger grew up in Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois for her undergraduate education. She and her husband moved to San Francisco in 1976. Myra received her Master's in Physical Therapy at Stanford University in 1980.

Myra has been in private practice for over 20 years. She continues to take continuing education classes in orthopedic physical therapy. Through her extensive training in orthopedics, she has developed a very eclectic approach to patients' problems focusing on problem solving and individualizing each patient's treatment plan. No two patients receive the exact same treatment program either in the clinic or at home. She enjoys working with people of all ages with both chronic and acute problems or helping people make lifestyle changes to improve their health.

Myra has three children and lives in Marin County. She enjoys hiking, biking, jogging, reading and "going to the movies."
 

   
 
   
       
 

Adrian Carvalho - adrian@ggatept.com
Adrian grew up in Hawaii and California and loves the beach, surfing, and visiting his family on the islands every year. He played football and received his B.S. in Kinesiology at UC Davis. He earned his Masters in Physical Therapy at Mt. St. Mary's College in Santa Monica, CA.

Adrian became CSCS certified in 2001 and McKenzie certified (Cert M.D.T.) in 2002. He also holds a Certification in Spinal Manipulative Therapy (2010) and a Crossfit Certification (2009). He has taken over 20 continuing education courses ranging from manual therapy of the spine to sports specific execise for throwing athletes, to current concepts in ACL rehab. He has worked with profesional athletes such as Mark Grieb, John McEnroe, Michael Chang. He has also been a host site Physical Therapist for the PGA Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Adrian volunteers as a lecturer at St. Ignatius and SFSU training rooms because he loves to work with athletes.

 

 
     
       

Tim Drobnick, DPT - tim@ggatept.com
Tim received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of California San Francisco/ San Francisco State University. Tim enjoys tailoring the patient’s exercise program to supplement the one-on-one manual therapy treatments in the clinic. He developed an extensive knowledge of exercise therapy from 10 years of training patients and athletes. Tim is currently pursuing certification in Functional Orthopedics, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®, and advanced spinal techniques. Most of all, he is dedicated to learning from his patients.

In his free time, Tim surfs even when it is not good, runs in the headlands, and practices yoga.

Nanette Hart is a licensed massage therapist and has been practicing massage therapy since 1997. Nanette is currently pursuing her B.S. in Kinesiology from SFSU and as well as specializing in holistic health. Her interests include outdoor activities, yoga and has extensive

Alexandra (Sasha) Kloss, PT, DPT - sasha@ggatept.com
Originally from Ukraine, Sasha immigrated to the United States with her family in 1989. She graduated from Occidental College where she majored in Art History and Fine Arts and minored in Russian and Spanish. After working in advertising and graphic design she decided to pursue her original passion of Physical Therapy. Sasha became certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and worked as a Personal Trainer while she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Sasha joined GGPT in October 2010 and is dedicated to helping each of her patients meet and exceed their rehabilitation goals. Her treatment style is based on a true "hands-on" approach with a strong background in various manual techniques, including deep tissue and myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, and muscle energy. She combines her manual skills with a neuromuscular re-education/therapeutic exercise program that is injury specific yet addresses the entire neuromusculoskeletal system to optimize her patient?s recovery and function.

Sasha always aims to expand her knowledge and treatment skills with programs in continuing education and so far has attended courses pertaining to functional biomechanics/physical performance from the Gary Gray Institute, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (McKenzie Method?), high-velocity low-amplitude thrust (HVLAT) from the Spinal Manipulation Institute, and Myofascial Decompression Techniques.

Sasha's love of movement does not only take place in the clinic. Her preferred activities outside of work include dancing (ballroom/salsa), martial arts (Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), Kettlebell training, and TRX. She has also played soccer and tennis in the past and is starting to take up cycling.
